To use the SBox, you must first install the included jumper wire to two points on your PS2 board:
Tools Needed:
Philips head Screwdriver
Soldering Iron (15W or less with very fine tip)
Solder (it is included)

Unplug your PS2 from the power source and any video connections. Remove any CDs or memory cards. Turn the unit over and remove the 4 rubber pads in each corner of the bottom. Then remove the 2 plastic pads in between the rubber pads. You now have access to the 6 base screws. Unscrew them and set them aside. Very carefully, remove the base from the PS2. There is a metal plate covering the main board. Take out the 4 screws which hold the metal plate on. Carefully lift out the metal plate and set it aside.
Soldering Information Using the wire included, link the two points on the diagram together. All you have to do is solder one end of the wire to either point on the diagram. Then solder the other end of the wire to the other point on the diagram. Very lightly coat the tip of the wire with solder. Then hold the wire on the soldering location. While the wire is still on the spot touch the wire with your iron. It should attach instantly and your connection is done. After you have soldered the wire, check to make sure no bare wire touches any other points. No solder should be on any other points besides the soldering locations on the diagram. Reconnect everything else you took off or disconnected before installing the chip Reassemble your Playstation and make sure the the wire does not get caught As long as you've followed the instructions carefully, you will have no problems.

How to boot PSX backups Power off the PS2 for 5 seconds Switch the NeoKey on Turn on the machine - allow game to boot as normal

How to boot PSX & PSX2 originals Turn the NeoKey off and boot games as normal

Normal Boot Method (PS2 Backups) Follow the instructions for your Action Replay 2 or Insert the Action Replay 2 CD 1 Power off the PS2 for 5 seconds Turn on the machine on ensuring the NSBox is switched off - will boot to main menu Select START GAME Select WITHOUT CODES Switch the SBox on Press Eject when prompted Swap Action Replay 2 disc with your PS2 backup Press eject to close tray Hold R1 and O as the tray is closing The game will now load

Normal Boot Method 2 Insert the Action Replay 2 CD 1 Power off the PS2 for 5 seconds Turn on the machine and once the PlayStation2 logo appears then move the SBox switch into the 'ON' position - will boot to main menu Select START GAME Select WITHOUT CODES Press Eject when prompted Swap Action Replay 2 disc with your PS2 backup Press eject to close tray Press X AS SOON as the tray closes The game will now load
