Step by Step Guide for EA Titles:

After installation of the mod chip the following procedure should
be followed to boot your backup CDR games.

1) Place the Action Replay 2 CD1 in the CD tray. Turn the power on AND HOLD RESET2) Select 'Without Code' from the left hand menu
  3) let go of reset button and tray will eject (now swap with  CDR)
 NOTE: You have approximately 5 seconds before tray  automatically closes
 and disc ejects spinning!
 
 4) DON'T press X! Press R1+O together to boot EA title.          The CDR backup should boot successfully.
