The Contract was ratified and on November 16, 2000, union members voted in NEW Divisional Officers. Many well qualified people ran for office but only 5 were chosen. The membership chose 5 members of the contract negotiating team to represent them. They are as follows:

-Jackie Walker-Jones .....Chairperson
-Kimberly Jones......Vice-Chairperson
-Robert (Andy) Congdon...Chief Steward
-Nancy Fuentes.....Recording Secretary
-Thomas Kraus..............Sgt at Arms

The officers would like to thank everyone who supported them and they welcome the opportunity to represent the members of Local 200C. Just a reminder, if you are not a member, you CAN NOT vote on issues covered in the contract! New Members Needed

New members are needed for Local 200-C. More members means a stronger union, better leverage in negotiations for contract issues and a larger voice. If every member of the union, would invite just one of their friends to join, it would give the union and who they represent, a much stronger position on issues at the bargaining table. A strong union membership makes the management take a more favorable look at the issues on hand. If you never thought of what you could do for the union, here it is...JOIN or INVITE someone to join! If that is all you could do, it would be a tremendous help. The Union works for you, so why not join and give it a try!
